The start of the series slow, painful death. The first sign of Halo's terminal disease known as 343. With crisp and more modernized gameplay, It tells a fantastic and gritty story leading up to the events of Halo CE. Halo Reach: The final game from the Bungie era, a fantastic sendoff to the series. Halo 3 ODST: Not my favorite, but by no means a bad game! Telling a great story from a perspective we've not seen before or since in the series. Halo 3: Second only to Halo 2, another grand master of shooters, one of the best gaming experiences you can get! No other Halo has captured the same lightning in a bottle this game had. The story, characters, atmosphere, everything is just perfection! (Totally not bias) The remastered graphics did everything right and only enhance the game further! I can't even put into words how much I adore this game. Halo 2: Likely the best shooter ever created. The remastered graphics are a sin to its legacy. While still a great time to play, its age definitely shows. "While MCC shipped before the XPA Play Anywhere, we are exploring ways to make sure that we show our appreciation and recognition for the support we've had from the amazing fans on MCC and we'll have more to announce as we get closer to launch." "One of the questions we've gotten is will MCC PC support Xbox Play Anywhere, and first off I want to say we so appreciate all of the support we've had from the Xbox One community with MCC and we're obviously bringing Reach to MCC," 343 Industries Studio Head Bonnie Ross said during a quick panel discussion before the Halo Championship Series Invitational grand finals. The Xbox Play Anywhere program includes 73 games, the latest of which is the critically-panned Microsoft-published Crackdown 3. What this means is, if you already own the game on Xbox One, you'll have to pay for it again to play it on Windows PC. A host of Xbox One titles fall under the Xbox Play Anywhere program but Halo: The Master Chief Collection won't be one of them. That said, Xbox One owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection won't be able to play it on Windows PC for free. Mid-mission saves will be unique to each platform and cannot be shared," said Jarrard. All stats, achievements, Forge maps, and game variants will be shared between all of the games within MCC. "Within MCC, yes, your progress and progression will carry-over between the console and PC versions. So if you were replaying Halo: Combat Evolved's Library mission via Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One and thought your save data halfway through the level would carry over to Windows PC, this won't be the case. Although Halo: The Master Chief Collection won't be supporting Microsoft's Xbox Play Anywhere program, progress between the Xbox One and Windows PC versions will be shared. This was revealed by 343 Industries Community Director Brian Jarrard on Reddit in a community Q&A. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will sync progress between the Xbox One and Windows PC versions of the game.
